Our products are made very dense - with very little air whipped into them. You need to let them "temper" on the counter a few minutes before scooping.

Many of you have asked for recipes using Blackwell's Organic.

Blackwell's Organic Strawberry Sundae

serves 4 to 6 people

1 pint Blackwell's Organic gelato or sorbetto - we suggest Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry

1 lb strawberries

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

sugar to taste

Place 1 lb of washed strawberries in a bowl. Drizzle 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar over strawberries and sprinkle with sugar. Let sit for about 1 hour before serving. Do not let sit too long or berries will get soft. Spoon strawberries over your favorite flavor of Blackwell's Organic.

Blackwell's Organic PB & J Sundae

serves 4 to 6

1 pint Blackwell's Peanut Butter soy gelato

1 pint Blackwell's Fruit Sorbetto - you choose flavor

Alternate layers of PB gelato and fruit sorbetto in sundae or wine glass. Top with your favorite chocolate sauce, whipped topping or fresh fruit.
