Blackwell's Organic: We use this book as a general guide for taking care of our companion animals. Anytime we have a question or concern we consult this book first.

 

 

 

Bach Flower Remedies for Animals (Paperback) by Gregory Vlamis (Author), Helen Graham (Author)
Blackwell's Organic: Many people feel that pets and people begin to look like eachother. Well I am a firm believer that individtuals and their pets often share similar emotions. When I consult this book I often find that whatever may be the perfect remedy for my pet is often appropriate for me as well.

Emma (AKA the Divine Miss Em) - Emma is our foster dog who joined our family in October 2007, she is nine years old. A lesson form Emma, “You are never too old to learn.” We are proud to report that in December 2007 Emma passed her Canine Good Citizen test. Emma is a true and loyal friend and we enjoy loving her every day.

Tuesday (aka Toots) - Born October 25, 2007 and joining the Blackwell family on December 29, 2007. What a delightful and glorious handful. Marcia likes to say “There is nothing is better than having a golden retriever except…..having 2 golden retrievers!” We are so blessed to have both Emma and Tuesday in our lives.

Lucy Blackwell (May 2007)

It is with a sad heart that we share with you the loss of our beloved friend and canine companion Lucy. She make a brave fight against 3 types of cancer - the last one was just too much for her. Lucy left this world peacefully on May 7 at about 12pm. We were with her till the end. Quiet under a dogwood tree.

 

She will live in our hearts always. We miss her very much. Tom and I are extremely grateful for all our friends and family and the healers who tirelessly ministered to us and to Lucy during this trying time. Lucy was in more prayer circles and prayer chains than you can imagine and almost every demomination was represented. It was a great comfort. We cannot thank you all enough.
