Recipe Maestro - Tom Blackwell

Tom believes in the simple pleasures of the senses; sight, fragrance, touch and taste. He uses this as the basis for everything he cooks. Everyone loves ice cream, but Tom was different - he was lactose intolerant; so he could not indulge. An avid cook, Tom decided to try his hand at making a true gourmet dairy free ice cream at home.

He bought a small ice cream machine complete with compressor and started testing recipes. Finally he landed a few that friends and family really loved. That machine and those first recipes were the start of Blackwell's Organic.

As many of you know we had to say goodbye to our first Director of Stress Management, Lucy. She was called to solve some problems up in Heaven. So, we had to locate two beings to fill her spot.

Our current Director is Emma and she is a rescue. Emma has helped us heal from the loss of Lucy and has brought tremendous amounts of joy into our lives.

Our Associate Director of Stress Management (in training) is Tuesday, we call her “Toot” and she is quite a handful. Born on October 25, 2007 she comes to us from a breeder in Canada. We are not sure whether she is causing more stress than she is managing but we are all having a lot of fun.Emma has turned out to be a great leader/teacher and Tuesday has brought out the puppy in her as well.
